Brown Bag Lunch and Learn
Friday, November 3, 12:30 - 2 PM at the Potomac Library, 10101 Glenolden Dr, Potomac
We know the stories of the national and military leaders who led their countries through the Second World War and the stories of some of the military units that participated in major battles. At this open-to-all Lunch & Learn, Eric Lichota, author of “Five Uniforms” tells a different kind of story, a story of an individual – a young boy – who was caught up in the German invasion of Poland and separated from his family. It is the story of his father, Kaz, who had to fight his way across Europe in four different armies, trying to stay alive, and in the process transforming himself from an illiterate youth to a multi-lingual leader. Join us on Friday, November 3, at the Potomac Library at 12:30. RSVP by Wed., Nov 1, at 240-221-1370, info@PotomacCommunityVillage.org, or register online here.
Please bring your own brown-bag lunch. Potomac Community Village will provide beverages and dessert. This program is free and open to all. Any questions, please call us at 240-221-1370.
