PCV-hosted: A Guided Walk at Redgate Park with a Naturalist
Join with our naturalist friend, Marianne Starr, as we revisit Redgate Park, in Rockville, this time to enjoy the beautiful Autumn colors in the varied landscape. Watch the many birds gathering seeds for the winter from the native plants in the fields and woods there.
Bring binoculars for a closer look.
We’ll meet at the clubhouse at 1:30, (at the end of the parking lot) and slow-walk for an hour and a half, over very easy terrain. Wear sturdy shoes, and warm clothes!
Some portions of this lovely park are hilly. Bring hiking poles if you like.
Members and volunteers are invited; they are each welcome to bring one non-member friend with them.
Register please by Tuesday, Nov. 10, 5 pm, so we know to expect you. Please leave your cell phone number when you register so that we can be in touch on Wednesday morning if there are any changes.
Members - If you need a ride to come, please indicate that you need a ride when you register for this event by setting the transportation text field to "need a ride". Please be aware that transportation is only available to members who live within the 20854 zipcode.
