PCV's Holiday Party, celebrating winter holidays, milestone birthdays and milestone anniversaries is now a tradition for our members and volunteers!
You must RSVP for the party no later than Sunday, Dec. 6 at 12 noon.
Please remember to bring a non-perishable food donation for the Manna Food Center. They are in great need of our generosity. Most needed foods include canned fish or chicken in water; dry or canned beans (low sodium); original flavor instant oatmeal packets; canned fruit packed in juice.
Please tell us when you register if you are celebrating a special birthday or anniversary.
Please also tell us if you are bringing an appetizer or dessert to share.
Members who expect to need a ride (members who live within 20854, please) should indicate that when they register, using the need a ride tab. If you are able to offer a ride, please indicate that as well.
What are Milestone Birthdays? Ones that mark age 65, 70, 75, 80, 85 and age 90 and up. PCV members and volunteers who celebrated milestone birthdays in this past year are especially invited to come to the party to be honored and to celebrate with us. (Those born in 1961, 1956, 1951, 1946, 1941, and 1936 and earlier.)
What are Milestone Anniversaries? A member or volunteer couple who've been together 25 years or more, with special note for those together for 40 years and more. You're also especially invited to come to the party to be honored and to celebrate with us.
We are delighted that musician and singer Walter Ware, who entertained us on Zoom during the pandemic, and was with us in person for the last three years, is coming back again this year! We're looking forward to a lot of singing, dancing, good food, birthday cake, door prizes, great company and lots of fun!
Donations in honor of one or more of our special birthday boys and girls, in honor of one of our couples who celebrated a special anniversary this year, or in appreciation of PCV, are very welcome.
