Montgomery County is celebrating Active Aging Week with the “Go, Grow, and Get Active” signature event from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Nancy H. Dacek North Potomac Community Recreation Center, 13850 Travilah Road.
Participants will be able to choose from more than 40 activities and workshops, including yoga, tai chi, dancing, writing, pickleball and Wii games. A resource fair with more than 23 organizations will also be there, along with health screenings for bone density, blood pressure and mental health.
