In-Person PCV-Sponsored Solo Aging Café: A Deeper Dive into Medical Directives
Please note that the first 15 minutes of this event (from 10:45 - 11 am) is to provide time to check in at Ingleside. Please plan to arrive in enough time to allow for this. The program will start at 11.
Note as well that this program is open to all, including those who are not solo agers, but who wish to learn more about medical directives.
Attendees should bring their own lunch and beverages for this session, or may opt to buy lunch at the Ingleside cafeteria.
Our featured speaker this month is Dr. Amy Schiffman, who will help us decode the complexities of the assortment of medical directives that we are asked to create and sign. Please bring your questions for this interactive session.
Join us for a welcoming, community-oriented discussion for individuals navigating aging without traditional family support. The purpose of our Solo Aging Café is to reduce isolation, foster genuine social connections, and create opportunities for friendship, enjoyment, and shared activities. Our Solo Ager Cafe meets in person on a regular basis to develop a supportive community, address topics of interest, and investigate area resources, so attendees can craft a personal plan for health and well-being decisions.
