Join us for a welcoming, community-oriented discussion for individuals navigating aging without traditional family support, such as spouses or other care partners.
The purpose of our Solo Aging Café is to reduce isolation, foster genuine social connections, and create opportunities for friendship, enjoyment, and shared activities. Solo Agers each need to build their own personal village by having those individuals that can be called on in times of need, which is important in developing that personal safety net of support. This group of solo agers meets in person on a regular basis to develop a community of support, address topics of interest to the group, and investigate area resources to meet the group’s needs, so that each person can begin to craft and finalize a personal plan for health and well-being decisions and events.
