About this program: This new offering from PCV is for individuals navigating aging without traditional family support. It offers a welcoming, discussion-based format to help create a strong community of support for solo agers.
Steve Gurney, our inspiration for these events, is a nationally recognized leader, innovator, and advocate in the field of aging and longevity. Steve is the founder of the Positive Aging Community and publisher of the Positive Aging SourceBook, a resource he launched more than 35 years ago to help older adults and families navigate retirement living options. A nationally recognized senior living expert, he focuses much of his work on solo aging—guiding adults who are aging without nearby family to proactively build support networks, plan ahead, and create communities of connection, purpose, and peace of mind.
Join us for a welcoming, community-oriented discussion. The purpose of our Solo Aging Café is to reduce isolation, foster genuine social connections, and create opportunities for friendship, enjoyment, and shared activities.
